ROSNAY ORGANIC
Our philosophy is simple: ‘Great food and wine are grown on living soil.’
Rosnay Organic is a multi-generational family farm in nearby Canowindra, certified organic and biodynamic since 1998. Founded by the Statham family in 1997, the farm produces a diverse range of natural wines, cold-pressed olive oils, and artisan fig products, all grown and harvested without the use of harmful synthetic chemicals.
Winner of the NSW Landcare Award and the NSW Organic Pioneers Award, Rosnay was the first organic vineyard planted in the Cowra Wine Region.
Taste the range of wines daily from 11 am to 5 pm, taking in the spectacular views of the Belubula Valley from the strawbale and recycled timber cellar door and art gallery. You can also see the vines, figs and olives and taste directly from the clay wine tanks in the winery, by booking a farm tour.
Unlike traditional cellar doors, Rosnay offers a comprehensive sensory journey. Their signature Wines, Olives, and Figs Tasting is a 90-minute immersion into the farm’s bounty. Guests are guided through a flight of certified organic and preservative-free wines, paired perfectly with estate-grown olives and fig preserves. It is a curated masterclass in organic terroir, held within the unique bounds of their straw-bale cellar door. The cellar door also doubles as a cultural hub, showcasing rotating exhibitions from local and Australian artists, blending fine wine with creativity.
The farm invites visitors to participate in the rhythm of the seasons. During harvest months, the orchard gates open for customised farm tours, allowing visitors to get up close to the organic figs and olives. This hands-on experience allows families and food enthusiasts to gather fruit directly from the trees, offering a tactile connection to the source of their food.
Rosnay wines are also available for select tastings and for purchase at the Cowra Visitor Information Centre, open from 8:30 am – 5 pm weekdays, and 8:30 am – 3:30 pm on weekends.
