VISIT COWRA LOGO
Officially unveiled at Cowra Tourism’s 2023 Annual General Meeting, this new logo ushers in a new ear for Cowra Tourism.
Each element woven into the logo is significant to the town;
The guard tower and barbed wire of course, signify the importance of Cowra's WWII history, particularly in relation to the Cowra Breakout in 1944.
The stone lantern and cherry blossoms in the middle signify Cowra's relationship with Japan and the journey of reconciliation, friendship, and understanding.
The Goanna (being the Wiradjuri totem) represents Cowra's rich Wiradjuri culture and history.
The wine glass represents the Cowra Wine Region.
The blue represents the Galari Bila (Lachlan River).
